Resources for Schools
Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, the annual Back-to-School campaign may look different this school year. Instead of Back-to-School flyers being distributed to all students in the first-day-of-school packets, we are asking that your school distribute the flyers to students in a variety of ways through the end of the calendar year.
For students that will be returning to school at the beginning of the school year, this process can continue. For those not returning to school or those with alternative schedules, please see the electronic version of the [PDF] flyer. Additional flyers can also be ordered at no charge through the Materials page.
We'd like your help! Please share this information about Medicaid and FAMIS with the McKinney-Vento homeless liaison, school nurse, nutrition program supervisors, enrollment coordinators, and your Medicaid coordinator so that they are aware of these important efforts. If your school division participates in the Medicaid and Schools billing program, Medicaid outreach is an administrative claimable activity for which your school division can receive reimbursement.
