For the nineteenth year, the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) and the Department of Education (DOE) are partnering to help make sure that every student receives information about Virginia's low-cost or no-cost health insurance through Medicaid and FAMIS. This year, the Back-to-School campaign looks a little different than in past years due to the COVID-19 health emergency, but we Back to School Flyer 2020 remain committed to providing valuable resources for school staff and information for parents to help get and keep kids covered through the school year.

The 2020 Back-to-School flyers have been shipped to all public schools across the Commonwealth. Schools will decide the best way to circulate the flyers to parents and guardians through the end of the calendar year. Some schools may choose in person distribution to students or they may opt for email, social media or other electronic means.
